On drinking the Kool-Aid

It's true--I have succumbed to the same mysterious affliction that my husband and son have, though so far, I am under control.  That's what we always say in the beginning, right? :)  They have used multiple monitors for a long time now, and the upside is you can work on several things at once, without having to go back and forth between open windows or resize your windows in order to see two things on the screen at once.
You start out just getting a bigger monitor, then at some point, you want two bigger monitors.  I think I can stop here, but already since the guys set this up last night, I'm feeling my productivity increase!  Makes me want to get to work.

You are a bad influence! I never thought of this, but now....

I know, and I confess! But actually I am seeing the change already. It is a small change that leads to efficiency. Especially when I am working on manuscripts or class, and need to have several documents open at the same time. Pretty soon, I may just go wall to wall monitor, like those security systems. LOL

I use both my desk and laptop computers simultaneously when I am working on a genealogy project. It is an efficient way to work but I have to make myself get up and enjoy the outdoors.

And I, on the other hand, have to make myself stay in and work. :)Rand says I will do anything to avoid doing real work.
